TV déja vu

I was walking into town today and I passed between the two big white steeples that flank one of the main roads, Highway 114, that run into Main Street.
Now, I've always thought those two tall edifices reminded me of something: the title card to an old television show called "Payton Place" that was a huge hit 50 years ago. It would spawn the careers of big stars like Mia Farrow, Ryan O'Neal, and Barbara Parkins. The card was an image of a church steeple with the show's logotype supered over it.
As I was walking by I snapped a picture of one of the steeples because there was a big fat seagull propped way up high on the cross that sits on top.
When I went to look up the "Peyton Place" title card--remember, I hadn't seen it in forever--I noticed that there was a bird on top of that steeple too! Ah, life's little coincidences always entertain.
Take a look for yourself...

Is Sag Harbor Peyton Place redux??
